Your spending in Algeria, clear week by week

Record what you buy in Algerian dinars without linking a bank account, and check Safe to spend for what is left in each week of the month.

The month overview screen in the Masareefy app

A budget app that also reads handwritten slips

In Algeria, every sale to a customer must come with a till ticket or a bon, printed at a supermarket checkout or written by hand at a small shop. The receipt reader in Masareefy reads both, so the slip from the corner shop becomes editable lines in your ledger.

Receipt scanning

Photograph a ticket: the store, each line and its amount fill the add form, and you check them before you tap Save.

Voice entry

Hold + and say what you bought. The add form opens filled in, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

Home-screen widget

In the Android app, add a quick purchase straight from your phone's home screen.

Shopping list

Tick what you bought and open the list as a purchase. Known prices are filled in; add the rest and save.

Built around how Algeria pays

Much of the day's spending in Algeria is still in cash: the bakery, the market, the corner shop, with the weekly shop at Uno or Ardis on top. You set the month's budget yourself; rent, Internet and any installment you record are reserved from it on day one, and Safe to spend shows what is left for each week.

Salaries are paid on a date set by each employer, so add yours as recurring income on its own day and choose Ask me or Automatically. If you share the ledger with one other person, each new purchase reaches their phone within moments, and you choose what they see.
