From the supermarket receipt to the handwritten slip
In Morocco a shop must hand over a receipt or another document in its place, and a supermarket receipt lists each item, the total and the VAT where it applies. Masareefy reads print and handwriting alike, turns the photo into lines you can edit, and can keep the photo with the purchase in your ledger. The purchase takes the day of the photo, which you can change; the app does not scan the QR code and sends nothing to any authority.

We never ask for bank credentials or link to bank accounts. On Android, you can choose to let the app notice payment alerts from apps you pick, such as Attijariwafa bank, Banque Populaire or Orange Money. They are read on your phone and never sent to us except as an example you choose to send. Nothing is recorded until you tap Save, unless you choose automatic recording yourself.
