Scan your shop receipts in Pakistan and check every line

Photograph a receipt from Imtiaz, Al-Fatah or Chase Up and the add form fills with the store, each item and its amount, ready for you to check. No bank account to link.

The Add Purchase sheet in the Masareefy app after a receipt photo is read: each line with its quantity, price and category, ready to check before you save

From the supermarket receipt to the kiryana slip

A big store prints a receipt with an FBR invoice number, a QR code and a sales tax line. The kiryana writes you a slip in pen, or gives you nothing. Masareefy reads print and handwriting alike, turns the photo into lines you can edit, and can keep the photo attached to the purchase. It does not scan the QR code and sends nothing to the FBR or to any shop. See how Masareefy works across Pakistan.

Lines you check

Each item lands in the add form with its amount. Fix a name or a price, remove a line you do not want, then tap Save.

Your own categories

Put each line in the category it belongs to, so the groceries and the soap on one receipt land in their own places.

No bank link

We never ask for a bank login and connect to no bank. In the Android app you can choose to let it notice payment alerts from apps you pick. They are read on your phone and never sent to us, except an example you choose to send, and nothing is recorded until you tap Save unless you choose automatic recording yourself.

Photos taken offline

Photograph a receipt with no connection. The photo waits on your phone, is read once you are connected, and is saved as a purchase only after you confirm.

Questions about scanning receipts in Pakistan

Is Masareefy free?

Yes. Logging, your budget, bills with reminders, a goal of each type, the shopping list and export are all free, with no payment card. The free plan also includes 5 receipt scans and 10 voice logs a month. Premium adds savings advice, a family member and higher limits, including 150 scans and 300 voice logs a month, and you subscribe in the Masareefy Android app.

Does it read a handwritten slip from the kiryana?

Yes. It reads printed and handwritten receipts, puts each item and its amount into lines you can correct, and saves nothing until you tap Save.

Does the app use the FBR QR code on the receipt?

No. The app does not scan the QR code and sends nothing to the FBR. The purchase is dated the day you took the photo, and you can change that.

Can I scan receipts without internet?

Yes, once you have opened the app online. A receipt you photograph offline waits on your phone, is read once you are connected, and is saved as a purchase only after you confirm.
